Dude, if your going to give a tour, don't swing the camera around wildly.  I can't see where your going or any details.  It's giving me motion sickness.

I really like the mk.V as a ship...and I don't like it as a Constellation,,,
It's a nice ship, lots of cool stuff and looks awesome...but it's lost almost all of the Constellation identity!
Luckily the mk.IV update brought it just enough to modern standards and I really like it! So I am happy!

The mini Polaris

CIG claimed that they made the Polaris have a boring, drab appearance on the interior as opposed to the concept images bc it is a military ship. Clearly, looking at the new Connie, that was not the actual reason.

I wish they remove those fins at the back of the ship and attached those to the engine like Polaris. It will look cleaner and more reasonable because the ship body won’t block the air if it flies in the atmosphere.

It's a Jedi Starfighter snubbed to a mini Venator.

I don't know wat this ship wants to be.

But I think it has core design issues that makes it lose significants amounts of internal space, which makes it seem wrong as a constellation.

The living quarters are gigantic, the rear cargo bay loses a lot of space due to two stairs, and the rear compartment with the snub is also basically wasted space. Even the missile loading rooms could be removed, they need so much space.

Heck. The cockpit is very wide too and it doesn't really need 4 seats, altough with remote turrets I guess I can understand.

The ship also would need at least 5 crew to function entirely, but has 4 beds.

I think it's a bad ship that is still a lot more useable than the starlancer max. But it suffers from the same issues.

I deeply hate those fins on the back. They look like brittle twigs sticking off the ship.

Some mouse smoothing would go a LOOOONGG WAY towards a much more pleasurable walk through.

Cold take: The Skylark should park reversed so that theoretically it could be a manned turret with no mobility but firing only facing rear with those 3 size 2’s.

FYI: the remote gunner seats are labeled as top turret and bottom turret.

Mini Polaris + Mini Scorpius

CIG can't decide what the Connie Mk V is, so it's a bit of everything thrown into a ship shaped pot. Also mouse smoothing/ acceleration for tours will help manage the jerkiness.

Mouse smoothing please.  Otherwise a video shot by a fruit-fly.

Original constellation looks better. And there was a lot of good points for components to be placed.
First constellation is ideal implementation of typical space ship with tight space and functionality in everything. Now jacuzzi is only difference from "origin" ships.

I can't wait to see what you can fit in it video!

Finally my ancient Aquila can retire in the hangar, this new MkV can take its place.

Thanks for getting a video out so fast Dan, I have to watch my kids this morning so can't play. Appreciate it!

Test to see if you can swap the Remote Quad turret with the RSI Scorpus missile turret since they seem to be the same turret.

Skylark looks like the Cobra from Elite Dangerous except not as wide.
