Football world has returned to normal, Alice is back to covering Liverpool

Missing out on Marc Guehi is the greatest blessing for LFC

60m for jacquet is an absolute steal, i must say even im stunned by the way he’s started the season. I was absolutely fine with him just settling in, he was recovering from an injury but he’s come in and acted like he’s in his mid 20s and played for liverpool for 5 years😂 he’s sensational

so so glad we signed him
he’s been phenomenal

Him and Araujo have been an absolute god send

Great to see you talking football had enough of the cheaters

Jacquet and Leoni will be the best central duo for 10 years. Not to forget Ndukwe

After a couple of games we got to calling him Full Metal. Looks like a great signing.

This kid's passing is unbelievable for a Centre Back and he's only 21. He's so composed. What a signing. Now we all understand why we didn't chase Guhei and just waited. This kid is already better than Guhei!

Van Dijk is teaching Jacquet. Yoro is getting his advice from Maguire xD

JJ & Leoni are both going to be huge for Liverpool

We signed a GEM!💎

Ndukwe impressed in similar fashion in pre-season. With Leoni back and Jacquet showing class from the get go, we look pretty solid for a decade, although we may need one more. Nallo is pretty talented too, and loaned out to a Finnish club, so we may not need another after Virgil leaves. I reckon missing out on Guehi paid off. We are pretty good at everything works out for the better for us.

Great point made with City. I don't think it is just a question of "ability". We treat players like human beings. Utd are the same. City and Chelsea treat them like products. When players leave Utd and LFC they are fans for life. Rarely the same for Chelsea and City players.

Alice just wait until Leoni is fit.....

Hes been flawless, and has so much room for improvement its crazy

Jacquet, Leoni and Brughmans are our defensive future.

Jaquet's VVD &  Saliba level composure at just 21 is mental 🤯

Jacquet is a good young player who is only going to get better and if he carries on, we need to tie him down to a long, long-term contract

I was devastated we missed out on Guehi, but I'm so grateful we have Jacquet now. He looks like he belongs next to VVD,  like he takes the weight off VVD. He doesn't even look like he's needed bedding in or managing in returning from injury. I hope we extend Virg's contract so he can continue to guide Jacquet, Leoni, Ndukwe, etc.

Jacquet is what Yoro should be now at United. But fortunately enough for Jacquet he came to a club with a better environment & culture where's at Man United it's a really negative atmosphere with the ownership issues, stadium maintenance, the fans being "quite rightly" unhappy with the standards.
