My first All Blacks video was more about learning who they are. This one is all about their best moments and why everyone says they're one of the most feared teams in rugby.  What should I react to next? And if you have any tips for the channel (editing, thumbnails, titles, etc.), let me know, I read every comment!

Dude, we can tell you love the game, no need to justify or apologize for your pace of learning. Trust me, It will come

Will Jordan just broke the record for most tries by an All-Black at the age of 28; he's da man

These days bench players are not usually known as subs, although they can be used that way, but impact players off the bench is the more used name for them

Great to see you appreciate the insane skills of rugby. Story from back in the day - famous All Black Buck Shelford had a testicle ripped in a ruck, had it stitched back and played the second half

You are such a respectful and hungry learner of the game. I discovered your channel tonight and have had a wonderful evening watching you learn with humility and see the gems and geniuses this game produces. Welcome to the family.

Now you need to see some line out highlights! It's another whole aspect to the game

this is getting me so pumped for the tour🥳🥳🥳

7:42 you were right. The tackled player must release the ball. But his team mates took too long to get there so he gave away a penalty for holding on to the ball while the fullback (defender) was trying to take it from him.

This is Union. What constitutes a tackle? Unlike NFL, where once part of your body touches the ground then that is a completed tackle. In Rugby a completed tackle means that not only has your progress been halted but you are held for a period of time during the tackle on the ground. If you are brought down but the tackler slips off you during the tackle, then the tackle has not been completed. You can get back up again and start running. Remember in Union the tackler must release the ball. Sometimes the tackled player is not sure if the tackle was completed when the tackler slipped off, so he will release the ball, stand up and pick up the ball and then start running again. Remember, if you are held during the tackle but your momentum carries you and the ball over the line, then you have scored. You are not allowed to crawl forward to score. However, you are allowed one arm movement. This may be to place the ball on the ground, pass to a team mate or reach forward and place the ball over the try line.

Great reaction mate! enjoy the enthusiasm for learning rugby!
A big part of NZ rugby success has been the offload in the tackle (the pass off just before or during the contact of the tackle)...plenty of players were doing it but it was revolutionized by Sonny Bill Williams, a great rugby union and rugby league player

I’m glad you are enjoying rugby, welcome to our wonderful sport 🇳🇿🖤

I am  very proud to say that I was at the game the first incident shown was played.

As an American who lived in England and had to play Rugby in HS there, I'm loving your reactions bro

12:50 it was blown dead because the All Blacks scored lol - Frizell (#6, flanker) places the ball down after the tackle

16:20 the guy that got hit was all good about it - the guy that complained was his teammate, the #9 (halfback)

You're going well mate :P

There's a fun video of the All Black's best 100 tries if you felt like checking that out!

A 100 years ago NZ sent there rugby team to the UK. They got the nickname the Invincibles, and changed the game foreve

Just an FYI but we do use the term "play" in rugby as well. Usually its in reference to a "set piece" move - something done off a scrum or lineout. Even though it isn't an official term it still is a colloquial term so don't worry about using it.

"The Haka" - there are thousands of haka out there - its not your fault, even we (natives) have been taught at schools from childhood that its THE haka. Hearing about someone talking about THE haka is like someone talking about THE song when they enthuse about music 😉. Thought you need to know. The All Blacks often used an old haka from the 1800s, and also have a few more composed for them to use to honour and challenge opponents.

Your enjoyment of rugby is apparent, and so many great teams have participated in truly epic games, win and lose

The tackles - keep in mind, these guys train a LOT on how TO tackle safely and effectively, and how to TAKE a tackle with minimal to no injury. This combined with gym work to build their stamina and really strong muscular support of joints is their life at this level of play. There's no denying that sometimes there are accidents, or over exuberant players testing limits that causes some pretty spectacular (bad) incidents.

The South African games are going to be pretty intense, and the attrition of injured players in the NZ team will be pretty high over the four tests - we'll see if the All Blacks will be able to handle the attrition, and push through.

The hooker (#2) is the guy between the props (#1 & #3) at the front of the scrum - he's called the hooker because he's held up by the props, as he uses his legs to hook the ball back into the scrum on his side of the scrum.
