Silicone rubber
Rebound 25 - Brushable Platinum Silicone Rubber

Plaster bandages (for the mother mold)

Pour them out of concrete, then pay somebody to give them a realistic paint job. then laugh when the teens kick your pumpkin and end up breaking their foot 😂

NICE! I was looking for this very thing, with pumpkins! I just love the fall, and have had MANY pumpkin moldy-green flumps with a stem, sitting where I left my pumpkin until DECEMBER! Now, my wife will be much happier with my fall display in the living room. As far as your camera angles, and the things you think were fails? Everything was great! I enjoyed the video thoroughly. This is exactly what i was looking for!! Can you post links to the products you used in this video? I need to cast a specific style of pumpkin and this is the perfect how to as i need quite a few of them. Thank you so very much for sharing your talent!

Cool video, and it certainly helps me with my own projects. You mentioned that you would prefer to use fiberglass instead of plaster bandages, but if you treat the plaster bandages with a transparent lacquer or varnish after the layers have dried, wouldn't it become harder too? Where did you get the 3D-printed pumpkins from? Is there a website for that like Thingiverse or another website? I could possibly use real ones too, since pumpkins have a very long shelf life? The absorbent nature of the plaster absorbs the lacquer. I've never tried it, but who knows, it might be a tip. Forgive the stupid question, but what is the purpose of the keys?
I have been doing a yard haunt for many years now using hand made props, but I have never made a silicone mold of anything. I want to make a mold of a pumpkin so I can make several jack-o-lanterns for my next yard haunt.

How come you split the mold rather than just peeling it off in one piece? I figured rebound would stretch

Would you ever offer molds for sale ? I have experience with making foam skulls from molds but never making the actual mold the thought overwhelms me lol
