I went into one of Hoi An's famous tailoring shops and left with a custom-made suit.

Tropical weight merino wool is good. Anti microbial. Linen is nice for suits but it wrinkles bad.

The only problem I see with that bag if you’ve got pockets on both sides when you carry over your shoulder, the pockets will be rubbing on your side.
I bought a large leather bag very similar in Sri Lanka when I went there in the 90s.

Nice looking bag. It should last you many years. You should have gotten a three piece suit. The vest makes a difference because you can wear it when it's hotter and it allows you to wear the coat open.

Bro said, "I didn't even know there was buffaloes in Vietnam" what a silly thing to say lol. Most rural area still use buffaloes to tend the fields, such they are water buffaloes, but buffaloes nevertheless lol
