The opening day stage greeting for the film "We Are Aliens" was held.

In addition to cast members Ryota Bando, Amane Okayama, Ten Yamazaki (Sakurazaka46), and Kemuri Matsui (Reiwa Roman), director Kohei Kadowaki also appeared on stage.

This film has garnered attention both domestically and internationally, including being officially selected for the Directors' Fortnight at the 79th Cannes International Film Festival and being selected for the Feature Film Competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026.

Regarding the reactions from those around him, Bando commented, "There were an incredible number of interviews. I think all the interviews I did with Amane-kun are now flashing before my eyes like a kaleidoscope. After the preview screening, I received messages from people I hadn't been in contact with for years, saying, 'I saw it,' and 'It was amazing.' I think I received more messages than for any of my previous works. And I was surprised that they were all incredibly long."

There was also a moment when the MC mistakenly referred to Ryota Bando as "Eiji Bando."

As the audience erupted in laughter, Bando retorted, "Don't steal the show with your laughter!"

Furthermore, in the middle of the event, the four actors who played the protagonists in their childhood—Yuto Makiki, Yuku Nakagomi, Saki Suzuki, and Haruka Suenaga—made a surprise appearance!

Bando, Yamazaki, and others expressed their gratitude to the childhood cast.

And there was one more surprise!

Three days later, on September 28th, Yamazaki will celebrate her 21st birthday with a specially made birthday cake!

Director Kadowaki also presented her with a custom-drawn portrait, and the venue was filled with excitement and joy.
