The shovels almost going overboard with the salmon had me on edge half the video 😂

Great job thank you

Nice catch, ever get worried your boat might get overloaded and sink 😆

Good viewing, thank you.

he needs to not let the cowboy line out so fast at the begining he needs to keep it tighter so that the weight isnt so far off the rail...boom needs to go way up.... and boom over to counter the weight when he pulls up on the single...

hes saying "my nets weird and not acting like it normally does.... its becuase you let your cowboy line out to fast and need to resinch it back so you gain your rail tightness and you lost over 5000lbs over the rail.... you were rolling bags as a 1/4 went back into the water....if you had higher divider boards you keep your fish near the fishhold and it  would fix half your issues as well

BTW  I don't miss plunging :)

I am used to purse seining to be where the skiff would hold the leading end still and the boat would circle the school of fish to end up next to the skiff where they started. Then you pull it together and purse up the bottom.  Laying your net out in almost a straight line then pulling it along is only looking to rip the nets apart on any shoal rocks. Maybe I am just used to east coast fishing. Stay safe out there.

Well I've never seen such a video that doesn't show anything, until now

Depressing to see how much salmon you lost over the starboard side!

Nice haul. Lost enough over the starboard side to pay for fuel.

I was cheering for the ones that escalated

I'm just wondering how I can break your net who is doing this sir are you also

so the claim was it was a $1,000,000.00 set for 30,000 lbs.   That is BS.  The set was great,  our best was 15,000 fish, sadly humpies.  It would take about 55K sockeye at 6 lb/fish to have a million dollar set a $3/lb.    However,  it was still and awesome set and a great pay day.    God I miss seineing

In 1989 in Prince William Sound a Seiner hit a big school of salmon and before the net was gathered the salmon sounded and rolled the boat.

open the hatch all the way...... deck hand opens the hatch... not all the way all the way!!! def a seine skipper

Se desborda

what’s the boat u set right next to?

Do not use God name vain ever because he`s the One blesses you, say instead "God Bless"
