The first ever debut of this amazing battleship, you can tell how much effort went to making this one hell of a battleship to watch blast things to hell.

"Size is not everything in battle." Says the man in a colossal battleship.

On the first Eva stage:
Most characters: "Oh no, an AT Field! Only Shinji and Rei are able to -"
Yamato: "Lol" nukes the angels effortlessly
That's literally how my experience went. This battleship is insane.

It really puts in perspective how broken it is when you can't use the Wave Motion Gun, its strongest weapon, and yet it's considered to be one of the best units.

Okita:”find a way out of this situation!” Kodai’s mind: shooting is the only way

Yamato could easily solo the whole Isacandar campaign, that's why they made him fight for 3 Planet Earths and 2 space invaders alongside Mobile Suits to make the game balanced.

The OG of OGs. You think of any giant beam of destruction? Thank the Yamato. You think of Starcraft Terran tanks? Thank the Yamato. You think of that cool battleship Coop pulls out of his chest in Megas XLR? Yamato. And if you’ve played a SRW OG game, you know that cool ship, the Hagane? That’s Yamato too.

Because it's such a treasure of Japanese pop culture I had a feeling they were gonna make the Yamato powerful, but I didn't think it'd be AS powerful as it is in this game lol. Awesome

Headcannon: Bright, Okita, and Harlock occasionally go downstairs for boozing

From what I've heard, the hard thing is not relying too heavily on the Yamato in the early game, since its such a powerful unit.

Forget your experience about weak, useless, bad aim mothership you ever had in SRW.
This fucking Yamato is the Neo Granzon of mothership.

...seems my comment was lost in the restructuring. Oh well, I'll just repeat it:
Behold, everyone. The mastery of the man who taught Bright Noah everything he knows about being a battleship captain. Is it not GLORIOUS?

Invaders, on the other hand, are completely fair game.
