Mariah Carey has become a cautious tale for Morissette.  It was around this time that Morissette announced she would cut back heavily on whistle notes and voice breaks/cracks.  Morissette said that she wanted a long career of singing and her vocal health was most important.   The bus used to drive around Manila while artists performed…it seems to do that less and less opting more often to stay in one place and allow crowds to enjoy the artists.  The DJ’s usually do a pre performance interview then the singing.

Morissette was at the Philippine Summer Festival in London on the 5th of July, I was lucky to be there, after trying four times to get tickets to see her, Mori was in England 3 times in 2 years, once in Germany and France, with her show called SHOWSTOPPERS, she is just as good live as she is in a studio, now there's a live Band version of this song, translation, BROKEN MARRIAGE VOW, even more emotional, with her vocal cracks, and almost in tears, now about the wish bus, there's a large screen outside with speakers, as far as I know there's a wish bus in L.A, the Philippinens are known as the champions in messaging so when the bus is under way, they know where the bus will be, and who is going to appear, by Mori the crowd goes crazy, with cheering and chanting her name, and when Mori leaves the bus to go to her taxi, she makes selfies and autographs, Mori always takes her time with her fans, listen to the song POWER live Band version it's fantastic, and seeing where coming close to Christmas go Morissette favor church, O HOLY NIGHT, the full song, not just one verse, with a great drum beat, there's Morissette Christmas Carol medley, O COME O COME EMMANUEL and O COME ALL YE FAITHFULL, when that's not enough go Morissette WHAT CHILD IS THIS favor church Christmas special, again taking everyone to church, Mori sings every year in the favor church for Christmas and Easter,  Mori has multiple Gospel songs like WATERWALK a modern Gospel song from Mori and Sony Christian music, and a favourite is COULD YOU BE MESSIAH, a cover from a good friend Gary Valenciano who rearranged it for Mori as a tribute to Freddie Santos who sadly passed away in December 2020 he wrote the lyrics back in 1990, hope you enjoy your journey. 😊

Gusto ko ng bumitaw- I want to let go…

When it comes to Morrissette, I don't really have to know the lyrics. Her voice alone and the emotion behind it is enough for me.

As much more of Morissette as you can handle please guys 🙏🏻

You need to know the lyrics to appreciate it more because it is heart breaking. I cried all the way when I heard it.

Hey there, new subscriber. Thank you for your reactions to our "Asia's Phoenix Morissette " she is such a wonderful singer and so humble. More Mori please! Thank you.😊🌷🌷🌷

When Mori sings your song, it's gonna be hers from that time on... lol

There is a rare occasion when she has an unintentional sound.

You definitely need to react the live band version of this music! You won't regret 👌🏻greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹

The only thing I told you guys to go check she was inviting career 2017 and she was performed on big stage festival 2017 and there’s a song she sing she perform emotion that’s the name

The live band performance is another level again, she's undoubtedly the world's greatest ARTIST male or female

this actually has an English subs by clicking the CC tab.

I believe this was on the OST for a movie called "Broken Marriage Vow" and from the title you can pretty much see why the song has so much emotion. The song is about a woman wanting to let go but asking if there might still be some hope for the relationship. "Gusto ko nang bumitaw" translates to "I want to let go" . In the end of the song, the lyrics say something like "I will choose to take care of myself now and let go"

what is even cooler is that some performances (like Morissette's Diamante) are performed while the bus is moving through traffic ...

I don't need English to have tears in my eyes. Her squeaks (temporary access to whistle register) are absolutely intentional. My favorite thing in this performance is when she sings into the room because she is afraid of clipping the mike.

I can't wait for morissette 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

"Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" means "I want to let go", with the general emotion of the song being someone conflicted between remaining in an abusive relationship and letting go. In the end, she does it for herself and lets go.

Guys, since you're so in love with the Wishbus, react to her 2 latest performances there: MY DAYS from The Notebook Musical.. and STRONGER THAN BEFORE in a collab with AGT winner Jessica Sanchez. Both will blow your minds 🎉❤🤩

Fellas, this song is one of those legendary and iconic songs. The bar is set so high for this because musically, it's insane but because the message is about heartbreak. It's about making the choice of letting go of the relationship or stay and be miserable. So the squeaks and voice breaks do add to the feeling of this song. I'd almost think of this as an anthem. Finally being brave and breaking free and find happiness elsewhere. The breath control needed to sing these phrases are nothing to sneeze about. All this, whilst sitting down.
