Thank you, your demonstration was quite helpful! Making my first wedding dress for a bride who has a full lace overlay of the entire gown.

So helpful! I'm doing the same thing, making a lace overlay on a wedding dress bodice. Ran short of lace, have to stitch two pieces together to cover the bodice front. I made a thick ugly seam at first, but now that I've seen a better way to do it, that's what I'll do next. Thanks so much!!

You can try using a soldering iron to burn out designs of the embroidery off the net fabric
