Bertie’s voice make me feel so safe and tugged in my warm bed 🥹

I can listen to Bertie read a phone book aloud and all will be well.

Sam Spruell not able to say retaliatory is so me-coded!

Bertie is full time nerding there. Really love it when the actor is doing their research and actually understands how to explore the character they're playing

Gosh Bertie has such a silky, soothing voice. I hope to see him in more projects in the future! He seems very much like Baelor, humble and intelligent.

Bertie can read my disconnection notice, and I would still feel like he's reading a storybook for me to sleep.

Can we get a massive shout out for Bertie winning the BAFTA for best supporting actor

Give Sam an Emmy. Now.

I love you Baelor ❤ Bertie you did a wonderfull job with the character ❤ Sam too, his Maekar broke my heart, what an amazing pair of actors. The hammer and the anvil ❤️🐉🖤

I want Bealor back as a good spirit or angel to guide Duncan in season 2 and 3

7:05 great to have reflections on Tanselle’s perspective here. Typical assume Dunks feelings were somewhat mutual and think there would be a romance if Dunk finds Tanselle in Dorne. But from her POV she doesn’t know this man and him saving her does put her in an odd position of owing him something or him expecting something from her.

Maekar proved he can be a good man and good father when he needs to be, I was very impressed. Very good job Sam.

I need Baelor back, most likeable guy i've seen in a show maybe ever.

Actually interessing questions for actors? Awesome!

Everyone played their part wonderfully.  Bertie was great as an intellectual prince, broke our hearts in EP 5.  Sam was the one that actually made me sad, way to take what could have been a semi-villain trope and show that not all characters are their attitudes.  I was devestated for that character's losses (Maekar), the book version will be make you downright depressed.  He lost his wife and brother in a very short period of time, then he loses his (arguably) best son to the road with the others being either his fault or the fault of bad blood that is outside of his control.  That man never smiled again.

Sam is such a gentle and friendly guy it amazes me he plays such a hard ass

"I don't think retaliation is in Lyonel's wheelhouse." So retaliation for a perceived slight is 100% in Lyonel's wheelhouse. Hopefully that whole mess gets covered in a future season.

It should be immediately clear why they cast Bertie as Baelor. Not too much acting involved, they both are compassionate and wise individuals.

I'm a simple creature: I see Prince Baelor/Bertie, I click ❤❤❤

What an absolutely lovely season of television. I kinda made up my mind to not watch any more Game of Thrones thing after that debacle of an ending. I am SO GLAD that I came across that clip of Dunc telling Egg how people used to call him stupid. It was so damn charming and cozy that it made me quite curious about the show and I checked it out.

I am BEYOND happy that I did. Can't wait for S2 ⚔️🥚
