I hate to admit this now, but I dated a guy in high school, total opposite from my husband. He was an armed robber, but died at 18 in a police chase (1993). He said he always wanted to do a robbery in NewYork, rush hour, wearing a suit. It reminded me of the construction 🚧 worker story.

1:13:20 "Well, when Miles was just a kid, he went to Walpole, one of the toughest maximum security prisons, because he shot a cop." Well I didn't expect that. Absolutely loving the art heist interview!!!

Having already read Black Mass I now can add 2 new book to my list. The Rembrandt Heist, and Underboss. Plus a deep dive on FBI John Connelly. Super excited to read this guys book.

One of the best Matt. Great topic, subject, and delivery. Anthony does an excellent job telling the story of a very rare form of theft.

NPR's "StoryCorps" doesn't pretend to be true independent journalism. Rather, the project simply records one person telling a story to another inside a mobile trailer. It's like "The Confession Files." The journalism version of a photo booth. People just pop inside and one tells the other a story. NPR doesn't vouch for the stories. I'm surprised to hear about its purported "fact checking." I wonder if the guest misunderstood NPR's purpose in contacting him.

You are the best. You had to watch that movie. Great Expectations. Cracked me up. Plus the way you glance at the camera. When someone says something crazy weird like it’s normal to them.
