Josh's preflight:
tighten oil cap
Preflight complete

Inagine being able to say "Oh yeah just got out of school, going to go fly a plane though, catch up with you guys later".

It’s crazy that your character in GTA goes through all those procedures before you take off.

"I don't know why I put my keys back there… " You, sir, give me hope that I too can fly.

Flying had never been on my radar before, but recently my Uncle passed and left me his Cessna 172 in his will with a letter about conquering ones fears among other things.  I have been learning everything about the plane down to the nuts and bolts and am just starting to look into flight-school (fully funded by him as well).  I have watched a few of these now and it has me shaking-nervous and kinda terrified-excited...in a good way.  Watching these and having a level of familiarity with what I am about to walk into is going to work those nerves out of my system ahead of time and I think it will make the whole experience much smoother.
Thank you for the fantastic videos.

The communication seems harder to learn than piloting itself

Thanks for opening that window for us while taxiing. Really helped cool me down.

The only thing I'm scared if is talking with ATC

I remember watching this years ago just waiting for the day I could become a pilot.

Well I got my PPL the other day!

That taxi duration was longer than my first solo flight!

I always giggle when I hear a VFR pilot yells “CLEAR!” even though he himself knows not a single soul is a mile near him.
Well, procedure is procedure!

If anyone's interested in going here in flight simulator, this is San Marcos Regional Airport (KHYI).

The nice landings are always when you don't have any passengers

It was a smart thing to have your drivers license on you just incase you got pulled over for speeding up there... :-)

I literally have no idea wtf people on the comms are saying sometimes

positive rate, gear, welded. . .

"Positive rate, gear up."

wait a second

Who IS here because of Microsoft Flight Simulator ?

21:55 is when he is on runway

* Me confused about wth is going on*
Josh * tries to explain*
Me * that’s not how X plane works.*

edit: this comment war is great
