~2.147 billion is the signed 32 bit integer limit. When you exceed it, you encounter an overflow error and it skips round to -2.147 billion.

"Hell isn't fire and brimstone its ambition and skipping" goes so hard

Edit: .

The score inverted because you hit the 32-bit integer limit, the way that computers handle storing numbers above the integer limit is to just turn them negative so that continued counting will reduce the absolute value of the number

sauce being the person to turn the "gooner" game into space travel is simultaneously surprising, and not surprising at all.
Edit [to clarify i know the game ends with scarlet going to the moon, I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the fact cap turned her into a rocket and flew her into an endless void.]

Alright, I'm just gonna say this, this is THE most unique Captainsauce video YET

I remember the last time CaptainSauce sent a body into space at world record pace, Welcome back Happy Room

Bro just turned a rage game into a competition for who breaks the game harder. He completely broke it.

2.147 billion is the maximum 32 bit signed integer; because of how computers store numbers, if you add 1 to (2^31 - 1) you get to -(2^31). That's called an integer overflow, and it just means the dev never anticipated anybody skipping more than 2.1 billion times.

I knew he was gonna play this the second I saw the trailer

"yeah i feel a lot of things, but none of them are anger" my goat can't miss

The more Cap ages the more soothing an ASMR-like his voice gets

I think the "falling forever" issue was likely caused by a floating point precision error. Decimal numbers are unable to be stored precisely at higher levels in games, so as your height got higher and higher you eventually just lost your ability to fall due to always getting rounded back to your last location.

8:32 Cap here has hit the 32 bit interger limit which quite literally means HE WENT PAST MORE THEN THE GAME CAN KEEP TRACK OF

Only captainsauce can ACCIDENTALLY get world records

8:37 The interger limit has been reached

I love how instead of coming here to watch him play a game I have arrived to listen to his documentary on how he broke a game about jumping rope.

If I had a nickel for every game captain sauce broke or found a bug, I’d have enough to buy every steam game

I actually really appreciate this new genre of Cap video. I mean, as far as I can tell so far it's only been this and CloverPit, but it's actually kinda refreshing watching him play something he's already familiar with, at least to some respect. Sure, they're formatted differently (this one, after all, is Cap's first 'retrospective' video, at least to my knowledge) but they share a commonality I really quite enjoy.

1:15 the way bro was about to say something and got cut off immediately

0:31 when the light appeared i really thought mercy the angel girl who offers her hand was gonna show up
