I should have said, it's also possible Imu's just been playing with Loki hoping he'd give up or give in, so he could flip him, and what we are about to see next is an ass whopping

I think you're reading way too much into Leuven's little comedy sketch. Brook already stated he owed him everything, and the whole scene looked like friendly banter.

We see the Joyboy video, we hype the Joyboy video

23:59 I don't think they don't like each other, this seems more like banter amongst brothers.

27:39 I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here, we do not know enough about the king to strongly speculate in this direction. If the king is truly jealous of Brook and fearful that he would take his wife - I don't think he would be this casual with Brook or allow him to be that close to his daughter.

If I recall correctly, Brook called Shuri a “patricidal princess” hence why his didn’t want to see her again. Some people are also theorizing that Queen Candel is secretly a God’s Knight (mostly because of how she dressed) who infiltrated the kingdom for some reason. That would explain how Gunko/Shuri is a member of the Manmayer family with her being adopted into it.

I don’t get the vibe that the king actually dislikes Brook, it comes across as banter between friends. I think they’re close. We know Gunko “kills” him and Brook really resents her for that.

"What stops this from being the most beautiful man in the world that captures all women's hearts?" Somewhere Cavendish feels very slighted.

Week to week reading is so much different than blitzing through dressrosa and whole cake to get caught up to this roof piece everyone was nonstop talking about... What a ride.

Kind of interesting that Brook and Usopp have the same eyes… and who also share the same with Teach and Rocks. Usopp also has no official last name. The King of Esperia has the same eyes and nose as Rocks

I've been watching your videos for years and nearly always agree with your theories, I think you and I read different chapters this week lol. The king is a good person (look how small his crown is, he's gardening, he loves his daughter) and the banter between him and brook feels light hearted rivalry like a Sanji / Zoro. If anyone is evil, it will be Candle for sure and will break Brooks heart that she double crosses the king, country and her daughter.

Loki had meat in between the fights.. NIKUUUUUUUUUU. No yohohoho in the flashback. Queen Candel dresses like a Holy Knight

I think you forgot that the reason Brook doesn't want to see Shuri/Gunko's face ever again is because he believes she killed her father, the king, to whom he owed a huge debt of gratitude. It's in chapter 1173. He called her the "Patricidal Princess".

The way the king's name is written in Japanese, it's the same way they refer to 'Leuven' (pronounced 'Loo-ven') which is the capital and largest city of the province of Flemish Brabant in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Personally, I think it could also be 'Luven' (also pronounced the same), because he looks to be inspired by Ludwig Van Bethoven based off of the hair and stern face. It takes the first part of his first name and the last part of his last name. Luven is a former municipality in the district of Surselva in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

Oda also said that he associates Brook with Austria in the SBS.

Tbh every theorist going off of Reuvens appearance is usually missing that he is a clear caricature of Beethoven. It explains his "mean"/stern look, and provides a much different explanation for his dress and being with a beautiful wife than many are jumping to.

Brook is dashing and handsome but makes bad music at this time. The king is ugly and oafish, but Candel who loves opera fell for him because he makes the most beautiful music on the island and perhaps the world. Brook and him might be "bros" because from a young age when other island members insulted Brook for his bad music Reuven despite being royal and a world talent was his friend and believed in him.

0:12 as a week to week read we’ve entered the annoying. You get 5% of 20 different storylines per chapter instead of a meaningful progression. It’s rough but typical

My current headcannon is either this imu is a dream version of prime imu for thw shadowy mu to inhabit which is why he isn't full power, or imu is on his deathbed from his battle and made a deal with the devil, maybe even davy jones, and the shadow mu is willing to kill off the true body to try and kill his enemies, maybe Imu Nerona is his own enemy.

the name of the kingdom Esperia could be a reference to the Garden of Hesperides one of Hercules labours and the golden apples that came from it are said to grant immortality I believe Doctor Kurhea could have ate those apples from island granting her extended lifespan. Also Gunko ate one of those apples which is why she has not aged due to the passage of time or that this island is the origin place of Devil Fruit if its not the golden apples.

The kidnapped giant children will be taken out of Elbaf. By the time we out of Elbaf they will be bigger and flipped to fight for Emu

Really, not the best chapter, but you always find something great about it! That's why I'm always here for your videos XD
And if you think about it, we've been receiving only hyped chapters for a long time, so we needed some contextual chapters to breathe a bit
