As you may know we’re currently doing a roadtrip through Hungary.
Today we take you to a very special and unique place!
Miskolc Cave Baths, nestled in the eastern Hungary took our breath away.
Situated within a natural cave system, Miskolc Cave Baths provide a surreal atmosphere enriched with mineral-rich thermal waters renowned for their therapeutic properties.
You can relax in various pools of different temperatures, enjoying the tranquil ambiance and stunning rock formations surrounding them. The caves themselves add a touch of mystique to the bathing experience, making it both relaxing and adventurous.
After this adventure we tried typical hungarian food called Lagos. Then our journey continues to Tokaj, one of the oldest wine region in the world. Where we did a wine tasting in a small local winery Himesudvar.

The yellowish white one is the TV paprika ( tv = for filled ) It is not spicy.
This is a commonly used pepper. In sandwiches, in salads, as a flavoring. It can also be pickled, filled with cabbage or without filling.
In fact, in one of the dishes, it is filled with rice meat. ( stuffed paprika)
The dark green type in the middle is spicy. It is usually used raw or as a flavoring.
8:31 Onion from Makó. Makó is a famous onion growing area. Maybe the caption was made for marketing purposes..
8:46 from the right un green onion. This is a young onion, after development it will become a normal onion. The leek is different.
8:47 Radish. This type is the month-old radish. Other types of radishes are yellow and black radishes. These are available in winter, they are not shown in the picture.

Such places can be found in most markets. The lángos is always made fresh. Fold the lángos in half before eating. Then the topping will be inside and you can bite.
If you are traveling by car, it is very important! Do not drive after consuming alcoholic beverages as this can cost you a lot. You could even lose your driver's license. In Hungary, the alcohol level while driving is 0.00! The police take this seriously. So if you have consumed brandy, wine or beer, wait at least 7-8 hours.
