There is little doubt, based on what I’ve heard from this, that the PO and it’s legal team made every effort to conceal vital evidence at every opportunity, and have subsequently tried to lay a smoke screen to cover it all up. And even now they are not coming clean, preferring a litany of pathetic excuses - ‘I wasn’t there at the time’, ‘I have no recollection’, ‘we don’t have the time’, etc.
I am pretty sure the Chairman of the enquiry will see through all these lies - he seems to be a pretty sharp cookie. I hope I’m right.

The red flag was there,thousands of people who have never been in trouble with the law before,all of a sudden become crookes?how do you people sleep at night.

What we need is a whistleblower in the Post Office in order to really get to the bottom of this.

Doing a job with honesty and integrity is scarce.

The response given "I don't recall" should not be allowed as an acceptable answer. If a detective inspector said that in crown court regarding a job they were in charge of they would loss their job! And they on half the pay

They won’t hand everything over in case there is something which incriminates them. So they drag their heels by looking through every single piece of paper in the hope that people give up. All solicitors do this. Disgusting.

How did they think they had an army of crooks ? 900 people all cheaters ? how come they didn't think that number was unusually high ?

Taxpayers have financed the greatest miscarriage of Justice in UK history and now Taxpayers are going to finance compensation for the victims - which is in itself Taxable??

How much money is lining the pockets of the solicitors whilst the true victims struggle even this is disgusting.  Lets put this into context they are deciding being the post office what documents the disclose.  The reason they need so many people is because they read these documents word by word to make sure they are aware if something that might implicate the post office pops up.  The law game is all about time and money.

Those people in the top jobs in the post office who watched  sub-post masters lose their lives, their houses and their savings must now be looking at their mansions, their fat pensions and big cars and thinking 'Yes it was all worth it' 😡

There should be a moment silence before each 'start of day' to focus on those who have been tragically effected by these horrendous events. These are good hardworking people who have been wronged, not corporate zombies.

Lock the lawyers too, 50yrs in prison.
