James, don't forget about your third audience type: people who have no intention to buy an anything, and just want to see you talk about various coffee-related things.

"they're all definitely coffee"
This is the kind of deep insight we're all here for!

The fact you've got a separate audio track for reasons like that is above and beyond. Considerate, empathetic, sensitive and intelligent. Thank you sir, if only 1% of content creators put in 1% of that effort the world would be so much more bearable. Thank you for your service. Also coffee.

The fact that he could tell the difference was wild.

"Least disappointing brewers of all time" is the greatest compliment and perfect description of Aeropress.

James explaining the staggering number of aeropresses that have been sold, while standing in front of a shelf with five aeropresses and reviewing a 6th - I believe you James.

"That's not an extraordinary feat of tasting," he says, exactly grouping three pairs of cups brewed by his own obsessive coffee team—ensuring their precise consistency—that are no doubt within a half-percent of each other. Nah, guy, you're fuckin' brilliant, and i love how giddy you got when you nailed it. That was wild.

One thing I will say about microplastics - Metal objects also leach into liquids, so its a case of picking your poison. I work in a trace metals testing lab and we have to be immensely careful about the tools we use and the conditions we're in. Something as simple as touching a doorhandle will get nickel in the samples. Having the air con on gets aluminium in the samples (aluminium is DREADFUL for getting EVERYWHERE). Sometimes we can't use borosilicate glass because boron.

How awesome is it that my favorite coffee reviewer also happens to have an extremely clear way of thinking about viral health-concern trends like micro-plastics.

Key takeaways from this video
1. You don’t really need to spend all that money on a aeropress premium
2. Part of me still really wants to get an areopress premium

3rd group here. I want you to review the AeroPress Premium because I just love watching your reviews. I barely drink coffee.

I'm in the secret third group of your audience - I watch because I love the gentle and kind mannered way your videos are presented, and I like learning a little more in the process too.

My kitchen’s not big enough for a 180lb aeropress….

You've got to be the most level-headed and rational content creator on the entire internet at this point; I will always appreciate the time you put into your experiments, and reflecting on and disclosing your biases alongside your opinions. 10/10 top bloke.
