Consider me subscribed. Not only because of all the great information and suggestions, but because of your potty mouth 😂 I don’t feel like I’m watching somebody trying to sell me something. I feel like I’m just bullshitting with a friend telling me about his good finds. Great video, sir. Keep that shit up brother…

Love this video because my cousin and I want to start over landing our rigs and this helps with do’s and don’ts, but the one thing I wish you would have gone over is costs. Like yes one might be better than the other, but if it’s cost significantly out ways the other, that’s something people have to consider

I’m still going to subscribe cause this was super helpful

19:45 I’ve been running a Dometic cfx fridge 24/7 in my truck bed since 2019. I have a 50 ah battery and 100w solar panel on my roof rack. It’s been incredibly handy even when I’m not camping. Jobsite, groceries, road trips, fishing, sporting events, or hanging out with friends it’s always nice to have cold drinks on hand.

I wanted to see how you pack it all in the truck!

I use my BougeRV Rocky fridge in my setup. Its been a pretty solid fridge/freezer.

This is some of the most premium and costly gear I have ever seen assembled, and it looks very heavy as a kit. I would love to run this setup assuming money grew on trees... I cannot imagine the all-in cost. I agree with a ton of your recommendations with this said, but only the cost effective and lighter items.

Don't pack you're fears. Been slimming down my setup as well with the things I need, and good quality.

Hey Jeremy,

I just finished watching the latest video, and I wanted to share one last thought as a longtime subscriber.

Please don’t take this as hate I genuinely appreciate everything your channel has given me over the years. Your videos helped me improve my English, relax after work, and escape reality for a while. That’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

What I miss isn’t the lower production quality or the old camera. I miss the feeling.

Back then, the gear was part of the adventure. Now, it often feels like the adventure exists to showcase the gear. As a viewer, I find myself watching product after product, feature after feature, instead of simply feeling like I’m spending the day with you.

Ironically, I even enjoyed your old Tiege Hanley ads. They were funny, self-aware, and felt like you. I still remember you joking about “exfoliating” being a difficult word for us guys. Those moments had personality.

Today, I sometimes feel like I’m watching a well-produced gear showcase rather than the authentic, laid-back vlogs that made so many of us subscribe in the first place.

Maybe I’m just nostalgic. Maybe YouTube forces creators in this direction. I honestly don’t know.

I just hope you don’t lose what made your channel special: you.

Whatever happens, I genuinely wish you, your family, and your channel nothing but success.

I car camp and I have the medium HEST pillow. That pillow is THE best! Agreed HEST products are expensive. I waited until they were on sale at REI earlier this year. So happy with my purchase.
I would love to get the HEST mattress, but I don't think I have room for it.
Great video, glad it popped into my feed.

Man. Your reviews are awesome! Gotta love all the new and old faithful gear. I have done well with boafeng UV5R Ham radios. Especially the new mini that came out less than a year ago. Tons of upgrades and programming to do with them. Or just use them as walkie talkies. Cheap reliable. Appreciate all you review and summarize. Enjoy the rest of summer.
