How many people know that there once was a professional baseball team called the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes in the Pacific League?
In 2004, the financial difficulties of parent company Kintetsu Railway (Kintetsu) came to light.
Amid the sale and downsizing of affiliated companies within the group, the Kintetsu Buffaloes' existence, with an annual deficit of 4 billion yen, became a problem.
After repeated requests from their main bank to sell the team, they finally merged with their rival team, the Orix BlueWave,
and the current Orix Buffaloes were born.
During the Osaka Kintetsu era, there was a pitcher who was called "Kintetsu's last southpaw ace."
What kind of unique pitcher was he? This pitcher also had some questionable behavior, leading to a tragic end.
Please note that because this video covers a long period of time, there may be a bias in the focus on certain players and topics, and many of the poster's opinions are included.

Also, regarding how I refer to players, I use their full names the first time, and then use their first names from the second time onwards.
However, this is not out of respect for the players.
I just do it this way to make the video easier to listen to.
