How is it that Polo still thinks TOOL is better than Led Zeppelin?  The comparison is a joke...  The bass line in this tune is amazing, not to mention the percussion and the vocals.  And that is BEFORE we contemplate the great lyrics!  Polo check out Dazed and Confused, The Battle of Evermore, Going to California, In My Time of Dying.  Remember what I said on your first Zep listen:  60 songs deep before there's any noticeable drop off...

Imagine being a 14 yo kid in those years...Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Beatles, Stones, Genesis....that made my chilhood and adolescence. That makes what I am today, and 66 yo man still enjoying life and rock music 💥

For years my favourite Zeppelin song.  That bassline....

Zeppelin is timeless.... true rock.

One of the greatest bass lines in music history.

"Ramble On" is in my Top 3 favorite Zeppelin songs – occasionally topping the list over the years!

JPJ on bass… sublime 🔥

This was 1969 !! It still blows me away to think about it.

John Paul Jones absolutely crushed the baseline. The man has never been given the credit he deserves.

The bass guitar is phenomenal

𝄢 John Paul Jones is All About That Bass
in this track. 🎶

Ramble On kind of works it's way through mind, body and soul. Gotta love it

JPJ's bass is just so good on this one.  Shout out to J.R.R. Tolkien for the lyrical influence.

If there was ever a song that's driven by the bassline, it's this.

This song is perfect in all respects, but the bass line is on another level. There is no other song in which the bass line is so central to the flow and essence of the song. This is why JPJ is a genius.

I am a big fan. I just turned 60 and I grew up with Zeppelin on the radio every day. Honestly just put the song titles in a hat and blindly pick one. That's how good these guys are.

There are no bad songs done by Led Zeppelin....
This one here is another great one...❤❤❤😊

One of Zeppelin's best.  Heavily inspired by the Lord of the Rings books.

Edited spelling.

How do you ever get tired of this song? That bass line is perhaps one of the most melodic of all time.

The freaking bass on this one!!
