honorable mention, the thing that made me love Genshin is actually the first summer event for Klee, the golden apple archipelago, everything about the event is memorable and fun, i still remember my time exploring every nook and cranny to each island just to find the shells.
One of the best things that people tend to overlook about Furina is she didn't have to be assertive the entire time as Archon. When she was introduced, it was fresh off of the cataclysm (Focelors was Archon for about half a year before she put her grand plan into motion). They NEEDED a strong Archon because the world was in chaos and shambles. But, as we saw with Neuvillette's story quest, people and time changes things. Neuvillette was able to adapt, but Furina was so traumatized by her own fear that she couldn't. She could have honestly relaxed and been her own earnest self after about 50-100 years or so, but was so scared that she couldn't. She was so caught up in her own attempts to find a solution that she didn't realize how calm the world had become.
My guy the toxicity in the gacha space had made me forget why i even play genshin but you my friend just reminded me why i love this game and why i started this beautiful journey and why i still come back to it even though i play other gacha games great video

Gotta share one of my favourite quests now: Caribert. It gives me chills every time, voice acting is absolute peak, great Khaenri’ah lore and some Kaeya content. It’s my Roman Empire. I’ve also been loving Nod-Krai so far, the only thing that could’ve made it better would’ve been if Kaeya had shown up. (I mean, they got Albedo and Durin over there, Arlecchino showed up, even Dainsleif was there. All playable Khaenri’ahns were there, what about Kaeya??) Rerir is such a cool character, he’s definitely not a good person, but I did feel bad for him a few times. Not enough to justify anything, but I did understand how he got there.
I also love the door to Khaenri’ah. Once again, chills the moment I saw it.
Another spot I love; the abandoned Elezear hospital. Those notes in the drawer genuinely made me tear up, and reading the carvings on the wall underground were horrific. Absolute peak in terms of writing and tension, without even doing much.
There’s many more things I love, though you can probably guess what kind of things they involve based on what I wrote here
0:15 Fischl, Mona and Lisa absolutely sold me on the game in 2020. All other aspects of the game before I downloaded it were a bonus. I was looking for "my next big game" after being exhausted of Animal Crossing New Leaf, and there it was, right before my eyes, gleaming like a diamond in the sand.
my favorite moment: venti story quest ending... that was just... the amount of grief, sadness, longing, and loneliness that slaps you in the face is just... and all of it coming from the most joyful and carefree character in the game... simply amazing.
