The arrest of Captain Sol, Miguel Ángel Solano Ruiz, could be the beginning of the end for Andy López Beltrán and Adán Augusto López. Ramón Alberto Garza reveals exclusively to Adela Micha how this individual was the true mastermind behind the fuel theft scheme within the Mexican Navy, operating between Admiral Rafael Ojeda and the customs offices in Tampico, Altamira, Ensenada, and Guaymas.
In this explosive interview, Garza connects Captain Sol's capture with the official statements that mention Andy López Beltrán as controlling the fuel theft network, the New York Times article, and new investigations that would implicate the Tabasco cartel and the López Obrador-López Beltrán family in cash transfers through the Banco del Bienestar (Bank of Well-being) to Cuba and Venezuela. It is also revealed that 500 Mexican personnel are receiving special training in the United States for counter-cartel operations, and that Marcelo Ebrard has visited Washington with unusual frequency in recent weeks. Sheinbaum faces enormous pressure as the rift between Palenque and the National Palace deepens.
