Techmoan is one of the few solid-as-hell channels on Youtube that has never jumped the shark. Always comforting and reliable. I didn't know you were sick but glad to see you are getting on well.

A documentary about graph paper sounds right up my alley.

I get so much satisfaction from finding a second life for retired tech. Especially cobbling something great together from setups or parts of setups that didn’t particularly work out the first time. Love this mindset.

Checked the comments to see if everyone else was thinking what I was - you're looking great! So glad you're doing better than a month or so ago. I remember being very taken aback and concerned!

Videos of Techmoan like this and others reminds me of the great words of the great Canadian handyman Red Green:
"This is only temporary... unless it works."

Remember when techmoan was only reviewing cheap dashcams as his passion projects didn't garner many views.
This has been one of my favourite chanel archs over my years of watching yt.

Your new desk backdrop is rather Techmoan Connections! I like it!

I love that the long and the short of this video is essentially, "I've upgraded from a projector on a stool across the room from a screen, to a projector on a step ladder much closer to a screen".

The backyard Tech-Cave. The hottest new thing for 2025. Way to go.

I see the moancave is shaping up nicely. :) So good to have your humor back. Also this is actually a very useful video. I thought about buying a project for my lounge a couple times. Ultimately I never got to it. I wasn't aware of this issue with short throw projectors and screens. I would have been likely be so angry at myself if I had to learn it the hard way. I haven't completely given up on this plan yet, so I'm all in for projector videos.

I will never stop coming back to the Techmoan channel

I love this kind of tech adventure... pottering around, problem solving, digging through cable drawers, using what you already have to make a "good enough" solution.

The nixie tube clock demanding the attention it deserves via the refresh rate, love it. Honestly, I love the whole video's energy.

THANK. YOU. I am sick of being paralyzed by perfectionism.

Like your approach to this. When my bedroom TV broke, I spent £100 on a projector from Amazon and was blown away by how good it is. It's sat on a chest of drawers, off centre and projected straight onto the wall, and I love it. The keystoning lets me have a 100" screen right at the foot of my bed. I also have a tiny 7.1 surround system with wireless rear speakers and connect it to the projector with Bluetooth.

The surround sound is obviously faked over Bluetooth, the digital keystone degrades the picture quality, and the lack of real screen means it could be brighter, but the overall effect of doing everything wrong is that you don't even notice there's any kind of TV in the room until you turn the projector on and you get a full cinema experience. It's not perfect, but it's perfect for me.
