The Vincent Black Lightning is a motorcycle more than worthy of its legendary status. It was the world's fastest standard motorcycle for over 25 years and achieved speeds of over 150mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

We had the privilege of having this gorgeous example at last year's Goodwood Revival, and it had been restored to its original condition. Thanks to the Goodwood layout, we're one of the only circuits that the bike can run with open pipes... you're welcome.

This beautiful machine is a winner regardless of how well it performs at Goodwood. She needs to be seen for being what she is, a fabulous piece of British Motor Cycling history. Please remember that it’s about participation, not about winning. Protect her, not too many of her kind remain ❤️ At 75 she doesn’t need to prove anything, other than her longevity.

I remember a fellow police officer having a Vincent and very trip it dripped oil and shed bits and pieces, worse than the Triumph 650s we rode and that was saying something when anything above 50mph they developed an alarming tail wiggle and vibrate so much that bits and pieces would break loose.
