Girl, look into fire mountain gems... you'll find any types of crimps there. You'll be blown away... years ago i would buy their grab bags with a random assortment of beads and findings. those were SO FUN

You have the right tool , it's the blue pliers crimp once then turn go to the second slot fold in half turn again softly not hard you will Crack it. I always wrap wire around the crimp twice. Go in loop through it again then crimp close. Happy crafting Hope this helps.

Hi, you’re not finishing your cramp bead you have to do it twice Sterling silver and goldfilled are the best beads size 2x2

I have one of those light blue bead boards that I got from Walmart for about $5. It is several years old and I have never had a problem. Yours must have gotten damaged during shipping. You should return it. There is no reason to accept and pay for defective items. Good luck.
