My heart breaks for the person who lost control of her life (I assume based on the contents) to the point she lost everything.

The person could also be a manic depressive which sometimes causes these kinds of shopping sprees. I had a relative many years ago that did this, luckily they were finally diagnosed and able to stop once the doctors got them on the right medication.

It drives me crazy that you don’t have bins and garbage can or bag to separate items as you open things to toss items in. Would save yourself a lot of time!

Wait until you see the rest of this crazy storage unit! You've only seen the absolute TIP of the iceberg! This was the lowest amount of money we found by a HUGE margin! Just wait!!!!

Can’t help but think.. if they had sold all this stuff.. maybe they wouldn’t be bankrupt!

Hoarding is a disease. Something happened in her life that was devastating .😢

She was definitely a QVC shopper. Valerie Parr Hill is exclusive to QVC and she sells beautiful home decor. I have many of her decor items and love them!

Awesome unit!  Might suggest you bring a clear plastic tub next time.  You can dump a bag in it, search without getting it all over the floor, and dump it back in a bag or box when you’re ready to search another bag😊

"This is the most fun game i ever played" 😂😂😂😂

Tom Ford is HIGH DOLLAR. And if you find a clothing brand called CHROME HEARTS, the pants are worth over a thousand in most cases USED.

Hi guys if you find dog trerats that are NOT expired your local animal rescue will be happy to have them along with any blankets and towels too and dog bowls

The Silent Generation (born roughly 1928–1945) and many members of the Baby Boomer generation (born 1946–1964) sometimes kept cash hidden in their homes. This practice was more common among people who lived through the Great Depression or grew up hearing about financial instability. They would spread money out in different hiding places so it would not all be found at once, and sometimes they even forgot where it was stored. When an emergency came up, they would search for the cash they had set aside. Keeping money in multiple locations also made it harder for a burglar to find all of it if someone broke into the home.
They also tended to buy items when they were cheaper or on sale and save them for later. When gift giving holidays came around, they already had presents and didn’t have to rush out shopping with everyone else.
I still do this with my children. I’m Gen X, and I learned it from my mother. She would have Christmas gifts for everyone by October. I know because I got my butt beat for playing with the toys and putting them back in the box before she came home. Never happened again.

You tossed the name out of a jewelery box. The names to jewelery even when costume is helpful!

THIS is the storage unit of dreams! Once you watch this video and see how crazy this storage unit really is, know this. You just watched the WORST of this storage unit! It gets WAY better. Lowest amount of cash found by a HUGE margin! Just wait!!!!!!

You guys deserve a unit like this! With all the charity work you do. Plus it's fun for us to watch!

Hi Guys, people who hoard usually have experienced some type of trauma in their lives that makes them feel out of control. One way they feel some sort of control is to collect stuff either new or used and a lot of them just hoard rubbish. Stashing money in random places can be a part of it. My Grandmother was not a hoarder but when we packed up her house we found $2,500 in the most random places.

This is the storage unit of dreams right here!

Hubby died or she get a divorce and she’s depressed and she was filling her time online and tv late at night. Then she feels shame and hides it in the storage unit. Great unit!! Better than those $10 units yall  used to get.

It’s sad the family didn’t claim this. This was someone’s life.
