In this video, I'm showing you real Uber trips that drivers are receiving — live on my screen.
I'm not talking about rumors or old screenshots. I'm showing the actual trips being offered to Uber drivers, including the pay, distance, pickup time, and what we're expected to accept.
As an Uber driver, I wanted to show people exactly what these trip offers look like from the driver's side.
If you're an Uber driver, considering becoming an Uber driver, or wondering how much Uber actually pays drivers, watch this video and see the trips for yourself.
What do you think about these Uber trip offers? Would you accept them?

the thing is they charge customer so much and then stiff the drivers

The time they show is really optimistic, usually 10-15% longer than shown

Central London absolutely joke rates. Barely minimum wage. ... more drivers around you- less Uber pay

I was a taxi driver for 18 years in Dublin. Uber has come in now and it’s destroying the industry

I found that rush hour is the worst time to drive in my market in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. There are too many drivers that drive the pay down. And the estimated times are not even close as they estimate the times based on no traffic. The drivers are pushing the pay down. The algorithm learns that drivers are doing these jobs for low pay, so it just offers low pay overall. The more drivers on the road, the lower the pay because the algorithm knows that some suckers who think they are making great money will take breakeven to money losing jobs.

Uber is doing this because there is no direct competition to this if they have direct competition you will see how the rate rises

Bro do the same experiment in multiple locations like go chelsea, soho, camden etc

True life brother, love you ❤️.

Those rates look atrocious my brother, unbelievable. For the past 2 years prices have been going down and down. They are insulting us with these prices, they know that there are thousands of desperate drivers out there that will take the bait. Good luck

As an ex Uber driver, this is accurate 👌

In a uber driver in Birmingham, I receive jobs like these, can you show decent rate jobs too , if they come up

@Ttttttttt-g9u 1 day ago

Yes brother I was here over a year ago when you was being positive about uber and I was telling you this is what is going to happen in London too. You are receiving the exact same rates as Birmingham only difference is that your trips are less miles because there is more traffic. We are offered 6 pound for 20 mins which is normally 5.4 miles

@bengaliTq 8 hours ago

£25 for an 1 hour 35 mins! Personally i will choose short 10-15 mins journeys once they pop up with different price around £7-9 mark and accumulate the £20 per hour mark.

Thank you for sharing this, I'm new to private hire and am still trying to work things out. 50p per minute sounds like the base line we should adhere to. BTW, can someone please advise what should be done when a rider books a trip for someone else, accept or reject?

@Asher-ash-n4q 1 day ago

Instead of complaining go join one of those mini cab firms you have to take the rough with smooth.

As an Uber driver in London, you can earn up to £18 per hour, with or without surge pricing.

Traffic in central London is ridiculous
Current London traffic features serious delays on the A3, the North Circular (A406), and lingering congestion from earlier incidents and there's more problems a 20 minutes journey will take you over hour good luck.
