I remember this Nick fella. Haven't seen him in a while.

We should do what we always do and sign mid season practice squad players from other teams

Thank you Matt. More time and we will see the bigger picture. The next two games 5 and 6 should be enough. The best thing right now is win in the trenches and find a way to come out on top. Great show Matt nice mail bag.

8:16 I was genuinely concerned Matt was having a stroke 😂

Southside Beat is so good. I so wish that you guys could do it more often.

Sawyer is the glue to this group. He is our current day Mike Vrabel.

This Patrick Graham defense is real familiar with the bad raiders defense

Ward no no no.

Has Herbig been playing on the left a lot? Most of his plays came from the right last year.

Here is an idea - if the Steelers don't believe in investing at the outside CB position (which itself is a curious idea for the modern NFL landscape) bc it is volatile or whatever rationale - then how's about not using the 33rd overall pick to select one?

I would buy Herbert/Ward stock if they are available.

My problem with the Steelers Front Office: They don’t value the positions they need to. It’s a revolving door of signing practice squad players or middlings vets at premier positions.

Putting bandaids on Bullet Wounds is the new Status Quo

Im not giving up 3 draft picks for Herbert he imo is overrated but i giveup a 1st and Howard maybe but nothing more than that

@davepheilshifter2418 6 hours ago

Really like Herbert too but that's a pretty good team on paper and no results. So much so that Harbaugh's seat is getting hot. With all their positive moves the Chargers still regress. The question you need to ask is why? Would he even want to come to a city that boos a future HOF coach and calls for his firing after a few too many IC Lights. Local Steelers fans and media better adjust their tone because no coach you can find loves this team/city more than coach McCarthy. You can mock the Seattle fans and their '12' but they won a SB with a middle ranking QB and very young, nearly rookie talent. That team has strong fan and media support and are winners because they worked together.

As soon as the money appears the talent disappears. It happens at places of employment also

I'm underwhelmed by McCormick and Frazier. They are serviceable at best.

@iLMatic1997 1 hour ago

The Steelers don’t have a good track record drafting CBs, so let’s just pay them.

But they pay out of prime, older vets . Make it make sence

I am intrigued about going after OSU WR Smith as 1st pick. Especially, if there was any positive thought that Allar could be the guy.

Mensah and Carr will be gone. Moore's stock is falling; Ravioli has looked better. Chambliss is a little small and like pushing 25, but he's probably the best bet IMO.
