When he talks about his father in jail, the thing that struck me most was the absolute silence of the audience, the proverbial "you could have heard a pin drop".
Very respectful and engrossed in the story.

There’s something about Jamie that goes beyond being talented or successful. He’s just profoundly human - humble, generous, compassionate, and able to bring people together. That’s a rare thing.

Several years ago, during her final season, we were in the audience at The Ellen Show and Jamie Foxx was one of the guests. He was great on the show, told great stories, engaged with the crowd and all the things you would expect. But during the breaks he was 100 times more than that. He came into the audience, he talked to us. He was such a great storyteller. One of my absolute favorites. I'm so glad he's been on this show so many times. I never get tired of him telling a story.

Jamie's impressions are amazing. He's got such a good ear for mimicry.

Jamie’s admiration, love and respect for his father are genuine and admirable. He is an amazing story teller and so funny and natural. Always a delight watching him play and on talk shows. Nice to have you back Jamie. Stay strong and never lose that sense of humor.

I love how he takes care of his parents, like some Asian cultures.

Leave it to Graham to speak the one sentence I never thought I’d ever hear in this life;
“Have you been motorboated, Dame Judy?”
😂😂😂

Jamie Foxx is one of the greatest storytellers of all time! If “I see what you’re saying” was a person. Particularly when he was telling the story of his father, the complete silence of the audience when he took that pause, absolutely CAPTIVATING!

He is quick witted improv kind of hilarious which not all comedians can pull off & love that he laughs at himself, he’s a good father, helps his family & didn’t let fame go to his head…he just seems like he has a good heart…♥️

Grew up with In Living Color so of course I loved Jamie. Watching him just get cooler and cooler throughout these decades has been amazing.

For me, he is the funniest. Not even Kevin Hart can beat him.
