Vince's Lethal Dose of Poison promo is so absurd that it kinda wraps around to being almost Shakespearian to me. I think it's probably one of his best, disregarding what came next.

The Vince segment is very Wilem Dafoe's Green Goblin talking to himself in the mirror in the Spider-Man movie

Oh yeah, that time Vince transformed into a demonic frog and came and shat in his pants.

21 years later, Vince had this same conversation with himself IRL.

I just realized that in order for the WWF to get that shot of the nWo logo on the chair, the have to write the logo backwards so it reads correctly in the shot. MEANING, that they actually wrote oWn (One Warrior Nation) on the chair!!!! It was the DESTRUCITY inside VInce's veins that made him that way, not the Castrol GTX in his blood.

Honestly, I think the backstage politicking stories around the nWo WWF/E run were way more interesting than the actual run itself.

The nWo in WWE will always be one of the great "what if's" in wrestling.

Say what you want about how the story got there, but Triple H vs. the nWo had potential, especially in hindsight, knowing that HBK was about to go on his second run, a run so good many people consider it his definitive run. Then there's always the chance that HHH manages to convince HBK to come back to the side of the good guys, and then you have DX vs. nWo. And if you grew up during the 90's, DX vs. nWo was a feud you could only dream of.

WWE dropped the ball on pretty much anything and everything when it came to integrating WCW into WWE.

I still remember getting home from school around 3pm, logged into AIM, and I opened my browser to see if there was any SmackDown news. "NWO DEBUT TONIGHT CONFIRMED - *EXCLUSIVE!" And in it, someone in the crew had snapped a pic of the nWo logo on the back of the chair. I messaged my friend and was like "Holy shit, something big is happening tonight!" He didn't know there were wrestling news websites with spoilers, leaks, and all that. So when it happened, I heard my AIM - Ding. Ding. Ding. Ding. "Omg, wtf! How did you know?! What else is happening?! When are they coming?!?!" Seeing that picture of "nWo" on the back of the chair give me just a giddy feeling. Shame it all went quickly downhill after No Way Out.
