It’s not the per-inn bridge it’s the Per-ine bridge. The last syllable is like brine or pine, not inn. And the bridge jumpers very rarely jump into the water. They land on a narrow strip of land on the south side of the river.

Cauldron Lynn when high flow is shockingly noisy! I was absolutely amazed the first time I walked up there, you can feel it in your chest as you approached, also the basalt vibrates. It's a great sturgeon hole at the bottom also! Thanks for sharing Will 👍 😊

The crushing river finds its feet

The waters plunge to pools below
A misty veil and foaming flow
Where Idaho's deep gorge unrolls
These desert cataracts heal our souls

Here, basalt cliffs frame rushing white
and rainbows catch the canyon light
A quiet song of wild and free
a roaring pulse of majesty
