I have a vintage 3 burner Coleman that I named beat up Betty. She was born in 1972. She ain't pretty but she has great work ethics. She likes running on white gas, but when she is canning she prefers propane. I got her at a garage sale and I would never trade her in for a newer model. She also easy to work on. People, if you ever stumble on a vintage Coleman suitcase stove for cheap, buy it. Watch a few videos and you won't be disappointed.

Well my Coleman is still good after 30+ years....I'll stick with it....

They new stuff is made as cheaply as possible. The old camp stoves work 10x better! I have 2 old propane, 2 burner camp stoves from the 1970's? And they boyh still work great!
The problem with Coleman 2 burners was how they routed the gas line. They never plumbed the gas to have independant fuel supplies to each burner. Instead it all runs down a oneway fuel line. If you cut the right eye down, it effects the left eye!
I wouldn't buy another Coleman versus a better made stove!

A good camp stove should not cost more than $60.00!
People camping to enjoy a low cost way to take a vacation! Or they used too!

B/c it just got to expensive.
