I’ve always liked how Mojang likes the Piglins/Pigmen more than the Illagers, since in recent years as I bet there’s been some influence from the Fallen Kingdom series regarding the lore of the Piglins. They also remind me of the Orcs and Goblins from LotR.

I feel bad for the beast, the man just wanted to hunt cool pigs

After watching the Minecraft Movie and the idea of Malgosha built the Great Hog, it does make me think, what if the Great Hog from Legends is a construct created and control by the Seer and not a living being. The Legends Great Hog eyes and crack glow purple like the heart of Ender, its skin has the same color and texture of Netherracks (like it was built from it), and giving Piglin is a society that believe strength over everything, a frail hunch back Seer don't seem like a worthy leader in other piglins' eyes. And the Seer knows this, so it uses the Heart of Ender magic to make the biggest and strongest Piglin A.K.A the Great Hog to be the powerful leader under its control, while its play as the Great Hog most respected adviser which makes other piglins respect it too.

Here's a theory I have;

Maybe the reason Piglins are less aggressive in modern mc is because they got beaten down so badly during the time period of legends, that they basically had to change up their culture to survive.
They might still be power hungry and greedy, but perhaps their now-low population required them to become at least somewhat more friendly, to eachother and to a lesser extent, outsiders. Cause hey, the guy who picks the least amount of fights is probably the guy who will live the longest.

Finally i can inject more lore in my bloodstream

5:37 zombification is still weird to me. It seems to be a different thing from whatever caused the zombies in the overworld, judging by the devs' insistence on calling them Zombified Piglins as opposed to simply Zombie Piglins, and it even makes them immune to fire and lava, arguably more adapted to the Nether than healthy Piglins

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the "portal" we found in the typical Ancient City was a hell made by the Hosts reserved for those who were... "on the wrong side of history..."

If that's not a terrifying idea, Idk what is...

Minecraft Legends is set in a fairytale story that the villagers read to their children in order to help them sleep at night, I wouldn’t take everything in Legends as 100% fact but just like all fairytales there is a bit of truth in them as well.

For example; in Vanilla Minecraft we see that there are Portal ruins which resemble the Portals we see when the piglins invade the overworld in Legends, suggesting this might have happened, I don’t see any evidence of the host existing or the player being pulled from some other world tho.

I have some ideas or theories, 1. I believe the piglins harvest the soul from soul sands to build their beacon. 2. It's more of a head-cannon, what if The Heart of Ender crash landed in the Nether & created the Warped Forest, or even further it crashes landed in pre-nether like a meteor, causing massive volcanic eruption and terraform the environment of Nether

11:49 While it's not canon, it's worth noting that in Minecraft Story Mode killing a Wither to make a Beacon is common knowledge and is also used for trivial tasks, like an art piece at a contest, suggesting 'ol Simmons isn't as big of a threat as theorists make them out to be.

I once repaired a bastion and holy-woah, are they unusual! This game is pretty cool :3 (And no, I didn’t do that thing where they make random assumptions to add random stuff, mostly, and didnt do much to make it more “aesthetically pleasing” other than stairs (for convenience) and decoration once I was done with the pure research/repair)

did not expect this at 14:49 LOL.

4:55 The skull on the chiseled blackstone is actually the same-ish skull that was used in the first version of the chiseled nether bricks (added in 20w15a)
They changed the texture of chiseled nether bricks shortly after, to make the skull look more like the vanilla skeletons.

It seems like, while the main game updated the texture, The Dungeons Team liked the design and kept it for a different block

But remember, the soul in Minecraft has MANY different properties, it’s maybe the key for knowing that the mace, trial chambers, who used wind and thunder, which has enhanced capabilities in the orb of dominances use of piglins to create the night, the corrupted orb used by the nameless one which it’s mobs can only survive at night, maybe it’s because the soul behaves differently when phasing through the realms, so maybe a pig was killed by the same ones who built the nether fortresses and it’s soul phased in the nether as it divided into the soulsand and created the first piglin, "lin" could be tied to "kin" which in most cases refers to soul based properties(Maybe I’m just yapping and speaking nonsense but Xatrix please see this)

If i had a neckle for every time a voice actor played a demon woman, i have 2 neckles with extreme differences, which isn't alot but wierd it happened twice

I think that Minecraft Dungeons timeline and vanilla game is almost close in they are in the same Era, maybe us i mean the players are actually from a long lost clan of builders (could be from the nameless kingdom) that's re discovering everything since everything is destroyed and long gone

Awesome video! love the dissection on each game. One of my personal fav theories is if the Nether use to be a frozen dimension or just one without all the fire.

I think the idea that the overworld had 2 suns is just part of the legend, otherwise the over world would be hot and dry

I have a theory: the piglins have their own habitats, their own in the deep, the underworld. In the Ice Age 3 in 0:32 there is the sound of piglin where the father said no, and it sounded very familiar. Just like the piglin! They are some sort of dinosaurs where the live in one habitat. Why did mojang hide this? Raise this comment please.

After watching you and Wither King's videos I have come to the conclusion that Ender is Cthulhu from terraria
