Can You Actually Find Good Stamps at a Car Boot Sale?

We’re taking stamp collecting into the wild! This time I’m heading to a car boot sale to see what stamps, albums and philatelic treasures we can uncover.

After hunting around the stalls, we head home to take a proper look through our finds - including a big mixed bag of worldwide stamps. But was there anything interesting hiding inside?

Hello Paul. Wow! I wish I had access to car boot sales, or flea markets or similar, and where stamps are sold!!!! Don't know of anything like that here. I LOVE "mystery" mix lots of stamps in bags!!! I love the treasure hunt, or just even to see such a wide variety of stamps and work with them.
I found it amazing that there were so many old stamps in that one packet, and the interesting stamps you found in there. I like the old Russian definitive stamps a lot. OK, onto the next packets ...

Wow, even in the next lot of packets you found some old stamps. I really liked the Liberian stamp with the elephant and overprint 38:00 Thank you for the great and enjoyable video, Paul.

Love the video! Wish I could go to a car boot sale but that isn't a big thing here in the upper north of New Zealand. Keep up the great work (and finds) Paul!

That looks like a lot of fun! Over here in New England we call them 'Flea Markets' and they are great. I haven't been to any lately but being a collector of antiques, collectables and ephemera it's always a great place to find cool stuff! What a great lot you got!! Those Samoas can be valuable as well as a bunch of the other stamps too.....
