you should do one game which is located in space, one on ground and one underwater ! e.g. No Man's Sky, Grounded and Subnautica :D

i love how the trophies in the first game are mostly song references. it’s a really nice detail

“I have a baby and my house is falling apart” most relatable thing I’ve ever heard 😂😂 love the content brother

Congrats on the baby. I have 3 month old twins. Its fuckin rough but worth it. Every little smile makes it all better

You should platinum a game with 100 completions, 1,000 completetions and 10,000 completions (by other platinum hunters)

Playing the Last of Part 1 remake reminded me how great a game it is, and playing it to get the platinum made me realize it's my favorite game of all time. Well, either that or Expedition 33.

That intro to the last of us breaks me now that I'm a mom, it hits so much harder, especially playing as Joel's daughter and simply hearing the chaos outside, and I just think of my kids in that moment

The point is that there are no good guys. Just because Fireflies do immoral things doesn’t suddenly make Joel a good guy, and you’re letting the fact that he’s the protagonist and that you’re emotionally connected to him and Ellie cloud your judgement. You can still side with him and agree you’d make the same choice, but to paint him as a good guy is naive

a game set in the past; a game set in the present and a game set in the future!

i’ve done multiple 4 hour plus long runs on Risk of Rain 2. i’ve done almost everything in the game aside from the tedious amount of collectibles and stuff like that. it’s one of my favorite games of all time. definitely my favorite rouge like game

how about you platinum a game where it includes bees in it ?

Games you described, having short runs are called roguelikes. You should look into games like balatro, megabonk, slay the spire or dead cells.

You gotta do “I platinumed a game that’s been in my back log for 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years”

You should try a challenge : for an entire month (or whatever time length you fancy) , play games set in different countries and see how much of a world map you can fill out

The binding of isaac rebirth plat when? LOL

About Joel being the good guy, its not a good guy, bad guy situation, they both have good and bad, Joel saved a girl hes bonded with but sacrificed the chance to create a cure that wouldnt saved many, fireflies were willing to sacrifice a few to save the many, they both did what they thought was right and its just a matter of perspectives

I actually had a blast with crime scene cleaner, and last of us part 2 is one of my favourite games of all time! congrats on becoming a dad!

I'm so happy for you.. Risk of Rain 2 is a fantastic game and seeing you get to experience it and love it was so heartwarming. glad you had fun studdy!!!

similar games would be Lort, Megabonk to a degree. Roguelike - survivor like games will scratch a similar itch. Risk of rain 1 is a sidescroller!

Was surprised you played RoR 2 and glad you liked it! It is a roguelike, and i love that genre and I know RoR2 is very beloved but sadly it never clicked with me. I Gave it multiple tries but I just never felt it.

If you want similar games, I highly, highly recommend Hades, which is one of the best in the genre (Hades 2 is even better but it is console exclusive to Nintendo atm, should be out late this year or early next year on PS), and Returnal,  which is a PlayStation first party game. Super difficult, super fun, its "sequel", or more like the next game in the game world, Saros, is coming out at the end of April.

Crime scene cleaner is for sure a video in the background game. Like its fun and at no point did I feel bogged down with it, but to focus solely on it would make it drag slightly.
