"Loneliness has followed me my whole life, I'm God's lonely man"

Thanks for watching my tribute to Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver. Travis is a character that a lot of people, myself included can heavily relate to.
This movie stays relevant even up until now with the problems in our society, a one of a kind movie to say the least. Hope you enjoy!

Headphones are recommended!

I am watching this after working a 9 hour shift alone at my apartment. No wife, no kids, nobody to text or call. God’s lonely man.

I have no friends, no girlfriend, almost no family, I'm just alone and surrounded by darkness, but I've fallen in love with this lonely life.

Travis was never a creep, he just needed love, and don't we all?

I'm here on the Valentine's day. All alone.

It's terrifying how many people are starting to relate with Travis today.

There was a time when I would try to relate to Travis but I wasn't able to, so I pretended to be lonely, but I don't have to pretend anymore.

Today is February 14th... So Valentine's Day. I'm watching this at night, where probably others are now enjoying their significant other. And some are immersed in their lonely life reflections... But does it bother me that much? No, for me it's just an excuse to focus on myself, although I've been in much worse shape recently... I'm moving forward, slowly but forward. And I'm happy about that to some extent.I just think that this is not meant for me at this moment, but when the time comes, maybe I will meet someone, and you too, and each of us will finally experience that warmth in the heart that we all so much dream of.🙂

Today is May 10th 2025, as I finished my 9 hour shift, I came to the firework show, as the fireworks began I looked around and saw everyone with their loved ones, and I sat alone year after year repeating the same stuff over and over again, nothing changes, I have nobody to turn to, working minimum wage in a small isolated town in the middle of nowhere. I am so lonely, I don't know what to do.

She betrayed me and left me alone because I'm god's lonely man. That makes sense only when I'm god's lonely man.

When I was young I felt bad for Travis. Now I am travis.

His empty eyes make me sad. He was one of the ordinary people who wanted to be recognized for his worth. What made him like that was the indifference of people and the war.
