Opening a Wii on Christmas morning and then playing Wii Sports with my family after dinner. Ahh great times.

It might not have been as powerful as the PS3 or Xbox 360, but it touched the hearts and souls of millions of people. Thanks Nintendo for making one of the greatest consoles ever.

The year is 2009. You wake up at 6:00 on a cold Saturday morning. Everyone is asleep. The weather outside is overcast and there is mist on the windows. You go to the living room where you see the cat sleeping on the couch. You turn your TV on and start up the Wii, keeping the volume low as to not wake your family up. You sit down next to the cat with the Wii Remote in your hand, and proceed play for hours on end. You play everything from Wii Sports, to Mario Kart, to Brawl, to New Super Mario Bros, to Mario Galaxy. Life is simple. Life is easy. Life is good.

When I was a kid, my mom would always travel to the USA for work. I will never forget the day she brought this console to me. It was a phenomenon! I was at my grandma's house and everyone gathered around to play it. There is something special about the Wii's simplistic approach to gaming. Along side the DS, it introduced me to the Nintendo and video games in general. I've been a fan ever since...

Man, I remember playing on this masterpiece of a console when I was younger. I used to get up every morning and go play New Super Mario Bros. Wii, I loved that game. I miss my Wii, those were some good times.
