Born in Tokyo in 1950. Graduated from Rikkyo University's School of Law. Businessman, author, and poet. A researcher in life theory who practices and advocates a lifestyle centered on the burning of life. A lifelong member of the Mycological Society of Japan. His numerous works include "Ikuru," "To My Friend," and "To the Root." He also runs his own art project, presides over the Shigyo Soshu Collection, and serves as director of the Toshima Yasumasa Memorial Museum. Founded in 1984, the food business, including Kinshoku, has maintained a fully integrated production and direct sales system for over 40 years through Japan Biosciences Co., Ltd. and Japan Mycology Research Institute Co., Ltd.

執行社長の思想にはこれまで『生くる』から始まり沢山の著作で触れさせて頂いてきましたが、その中心であるはずの葉隠思想についてはどこか敬遠しているところが自分にあったようです。
それが、十戒のお話を一つ一つ聞いていくことで、葉隠的な生き方の魅力が真に迫って自分も日々実践したいと心から思えるようになりました。
武士道では、「何を為したか」「どこに向かっているか」その成果や業績よりも、自分の憧れに向かって一歩でも近づこうとにじり寄ろうとするそのひた向きさ、その姿そのものに、美しさがあり、偉大さがあり、聖性があり、神にも劣らぬ栄光があるのだと感じました。
自分はパソコンで仕事をするので、毎日必ずパソコンで最初に開くところに葉隠十戒を掲げたいと思います。
と期待します。
何か現在の落ちぶれた混沌とした日本におけるこれからの道しるべが生まれるのではというワクワクを感じます。
