Today we are going over the Showcase settings in Helix Stadium. This is a very powerful feature that turns your helix stadium almost into a playback rig, and you can control other gear via midi as well.

For those of us that use this feature to practice at home, it sure would be nice to have a playback speed option.

I really like how you show how you organized the stems and explained why you did that. Every stem named appropriately with the consideration for other songs to utilize the same structure. The time you spend in preparation for your setlist will make for a great performance. Great job and now I am subscribing!

I would guess that line 6 has contacted you about using your guides. They are the most useful I have found - thank you!

This is truly a Game Changing feature. Line6 leading the pack.

The video I was waiting to see, put together by just the person I wanted to see do it. Thanks Scott!

Thanks for taking the time to make such a detailed video for the Helix Stadium Showcase. I learned a few good tips. Can't wait see what Line 6 developers add as features in the future.

They need to add the option to import your own midi tempo map (99% of the songs I play have multiple tempo or time signature changes). 16 mono/8 stereo tracks would be great

I think for smaller bands or solo acts that don't have major label touring budgets, this feature would be a major selling point of the Helix Stadium and worth the price of admission just to add automation to their live sets. I know I would have loved this feature when I was playing with my old band 10 years ago. For major bands like DT, Epica, Parkway Drive, or just about any major label supported band, they carry a full automation rig that includes a laptop and MIDI outboard gear so it wouldn't be a major selling point for them and likely wouldn't get them away from an axe fx or quad cortex. But I think Line 6 has raised the bar for next Gen modelers more so that fractal or neural and I'm glad thethey took their time to release the stadium line. Along with Line 6's track record of supporting hardware for a long time, stuff like this makes me feel validated that I bought the Helix over the Axe Fx or quad cortex.

Thank you great video 🎼😃🎸

this is hands down the best technical tutorial video i’ve ever seen, it has the best balance between being throughout, but not too atomic, showing everything that’s available but advising on what’s more practical… thank you so much

Scott, as usual, absolutely fantastic content and guidance. Many thanks to you; your videos do make a huge difference in better understanding this tech.

Your videos are fantastic, Scott! Your videos on this unit have made me decide to buy this for the band. Stoked! Thank you 🙏🏻

Just got mine in today. Tones are def at another level but showcase steals the show!!!!

@ericamick5462 1 month ago

Totally on point bro. I was chomping at the bit yesterday to get off work and download the most popular NAM loader and dl the most liked high gain A2 files only to come away comparing to my ampero and my mooer gs1000. Where i could lower the gain and other parameters...

@logangivan 9 months ago (edited)

This is by far the best gear channel for the gigging musician. Question, do you think having this all in one unit is better or worse than having the playback rig separate from guitar / bass / vocal processing?

@chrisminor6362 9 months ago

I just watched your Stage Trax video last week. I use Ableset for Ableton. Something cool about both of those is the ability to sync lyrics. I hope Stadium gets that feature on an update.
