You never checked the shafts for wear, that is the #1 issue that gives trouble, and you never even looked at them.

Dang... The most important part of the video, at 14:04 is out of camera view!  I can't get that darn choke spring in place for the life of me!

Thanks for this video. Would also be a good idea to check the float level before buttoning it up.

I have the exact same problem with mine (a fuel leak) sadly, I took both carbs fully apart to clean them

Hey Curt good to see you back.  Hope all has been well.  Your video quality hasn't skipped a beat!

Exactly the same car I have ! Primrose '69 GT

Thanks a lot for this vidéo ! On my SU ( front ) a'm unable  to repositionning the starter lever ( with the spiral lever ). Your hands are too hight in the vidéo and it's a nightmare... Could you explain to me again 🙏 ?... Best regards

Just a note that you have the wrong jets on one of the carbs.  The red ones are for horizontal flow (0degree) side draft, the black ones are for carbs siting up to 30 degrees from vertical as on the MGB.

They have nothing to do with front back.

As the catalogue says
Black Plastic = semi-down-draught
Red Plastic = horizontal

The clue is your float bowl sits on an angle vs the throttle body.

Nice! Good work bro!

Why do the kits always cost quite a bit when they're just gaskets and stuff?

where did you get those carb kits? I need a hose for the float bowl like your kit has.

How does the jet locking nut actually retain the jet while allowing adjustment when centring? I’ve wondered for a while but I’m not prepared to pull mine apart while it is running well lol.

@6:40 water is thicker than gas. Better to test in gasoline.

when are we seeing the Z again?

Great video but..  out of focus a lot, off the top of the screen a lot, skipping over the bits where something specific is being installed, generally going to fast for someone to get the benefit out of it..   Maybe next time..
