Yes, I had a faithful white Lab we had rescued.  He was our family Guardian who was adored by all of our family, friends and neighbours.  They said he was almost human….the way he listened and tried to communicate his story for the day.  He behaved just the way this hero Lab did in this story.  We all miss him and will never forget what a loving soul he was…..very special❣️🦮🕊️❣️

Yes he looked  like  my Labrador  Chad  very much so he was big to had him from 6 weeks till 16 yrs we walked for miles never   gave me any trouble  i still cry hes in our garden  he loved  to swim  still have hes lead bowl & toys

My daughter had called the nurse to come and assess my newborn grand son and her dog would not leave him  even for a little while. My grandson was being distracted by the dog and he kept being distracted by the dog. So the nurse asked my daughter to take him  out of the living room  and my grandson started to cry! When the nurse had finished my daughter brought him back and the first thing that the dog did was to show all his fangs in anger to the nurse because he thought the nurse was hurting my grandson. The dog follows him everywhere!

Loved this story - knew it was fictional but it seemed very real, Hooray for the fantastic, protective dog Buddy! We had two German Shepherds when our son and daughter were babies, and they were so loving and protective towards our kids.
