As an artist in the visual effects and 3D animation industry whose favourite movie of all time is Jurassic Park...thank you. This was wonderful.

I think it's worth noting that Jurassic Park is a huge reason why I got into this line of work. But I didn't do it for the theft of other's work in AI, or for the unpaid overtime and tight deadlines, or for the soulless mass of superhero schlock churning out the same movie every few months. I wanted to work in animation/VFX to make something as creative and impressive as Jurassic Park. Because Jurassic Park was made by *people*.

You've outdone yourself man. I'm usually not interested in watching 1 hour video because I'm pretty busy, but you kept me captivated through and through.

For anyone saying that you played up the horror of generative AI "art" by likening it to a predatory dinosaur... I'd say that you didn't play up its terror nearly enough. As an artist, the way you edit when you talk about AI is exactly the way I think about it when I think about the industry. Fantastic analysis.

This is the greatest video I have ever watched. Thank you, truly thank you. My soul was completely chained in this video. This changed the compounds that make up my mind. I remember thinking when you were talking about Phil tippet and him helping for a second I though you were saying “AI does the main work but artists help out a bit” but then staring at a D-rex toy I realized you weren’t talking about that but you were talking about future, and how the future might not be as horrible as it looks from now.
