This game was the foundation for the Prototype series and that fluid movement system it's the best of it's kind even today.

This game being from the same people who did prototype makes sense

Best part in the fight against Mercy is using the Joe Fixit skin

I would love to see Hulk get his own game again, but give it fully destructible environments like in Donkey Kong Bananza.

This is still the best superhero sandbox to date. We desperately need a sequel.

27:41 What triggers the mutation sequence is if you intercept Abomination as he's throwing those containers at you

Had this on the GameCube and man the nostalgia of it brings me way back. Arguably the best Hulk game of all time!

If I recall rightly, video game rentals came with generic covers for mostly one of two reasons: 1. A previous renter hadn't returned the right box, perhaps choosing to keep the original art, or 2. Video game publishers sued rental companies like Blockbuster for copyright infringement if they illicitly(?) duplicated the box art for rental purposes. (Manuals, too, were subject to this.) This was because many publishers, particularly Nintendo, thought that rentals hurt their bottom line and should be illegal, so it was a sort of lawfare approach to "devalue" the rentals for the public.

The consensus is that Hulk is FAST and STRONG enough to run up walls, not necessarily stick to them. Nice review btw! 😎

can really feel the nostalgia you have for everything featured here and it’s reflected in the quality of your work. i hope that someday we’ll get another game that hits you the same way

I appreciate this game Game me Prototype 🤔. I played it loved it and went back to this game and released it was just Hulk Ultimate Destruction 😌. Which I have now for my PS2. I miss games like this in this fleeting gaming market of today😏.

11:50 I remember as a kid, being stuck on the final boss on hard-difficulty for literal weeks 😭

I’d happily take some scaled back games if it would allow them to explore other characters more often. I’ve always wanted a Daredevil game, and his powers/villains are low-key enough that you don’t have to have world-changing stakes.

I completely forgot about this game until my brother mentioned it today, and now here I am. It plays incredibly well under emulation (especially the GameCube version with Dolphin. I have my own rom, I swear).

The incredible hulk ultimate destruction is the best superhero video game I have ever played, you can tell the developers put a lot of love into this game for e.g by pressing the select button and he would roar, turn cars into boxing gloves (used in the incredible hulk Edward Norton movie) surfing on flattened buses, taking buildings down, the list goes on this hold. I have lots of love for this game.

This is also one of my favorite games ever! It's a shame hulk gets disrespected these days, he's been nerfed, I always wish they had a Action figure line released based on this game.

The level of detail you explained is unfathomable and amount of views you received is ridiculous ...only true Hulk fans will love this details it's not every one cup of tea ❤
