All my stuff keeps turning vintage. I’m antique now.

Phil’s knowledge is UNMATCHED. I love the geeky stuff

I just picked up this exact guitar at a pawnshop for $175

I kinda miss the early 2000's flame paint jobs. I didn't care for them back then, but now I realize that they had a lot more personality than what we have now. lol

“This one’s never been played….still got the ole tagger on it” “don’t touch it it can’t be played….dont even look at it”

What makes it harder and often expensive to peasants who don’t get given every single guitar made by every company to chat about and say “it’s awesome”, some guys just like their hands in every companies pocket and have basically the same stock review

I think the late 90s was the Apex of quality, for vehicles too.

I was impressed by Phillip’s guitar playing. I had always pictured him more as a guitar mechanic, but he really can play.

"It's almost like they took the time..." kind of says it all, doesn't it?

Great video Phil.

I can’t comprehend how some could buy a guitar and never play it.

@RolandDelacroix 6 months ago

The banjo playing was the best part. Didn't know Phil could play like that.

i love that the cheap walmart build guitar comes with that exact jackson neck different headstock

My 2002 MIJ DK2 Pro is by far one of my favorites, along with my early 2000's Prestige Ibanez models. Glory days for making guitars in Japan.

Phil ripped a solo out of nowhere 😅 I didn't know he had that in him, he hasn't showed that before, great playing man!

LOVE these vintage Deep Dives! More please....................!

My first guitar was an Aria Pro Inazuma I picked up back in 1982. The quality of the wood is light years ahead of anything I've seen in the last 20 years....

He is a total bad ass metal player.

Phil, this is great! this is perfect for doing something different. revisiting guitars of our youth. it would be cool to revisit some old amps as well. you already did the Peavey which I love.
