In April 1973, just three months before Bruce Lee's tragic death, a confident 19-year-old stuntman named Jackie Chan made a bold claim on the backlot of Golden Harvest Studios: "I'm faster than Bruce Lee." What happened
next became a defining moment in martial arts cinema history.
This is the untold story of their confrontation during the filming of Enter the Dragon. Bruce Lee didn't just prove Jackie wrong that day—he taught him the difference between speed and wisdom, between technique and understanding, between confidence and mastery. He sees BRUCE LEE. as his idol.
He has so much RESPECT and ADMIRATION for Bruce Lee.
But, just that, a good story.
If, this really happened, Jackie Chan, would have, mentioned it.
He, and Bruce Lee, had a special, relationship, because of an accident, that happened, between them, on set.
After that, Bruce Lee, always made sure, he was okay.
That, was all. Jackie Chan, respected, Bruce Lee.
He, even, said it himself.
That's why, he developed, his own,
style, of expressing himself.
No, real martial artist, that knew, Bruce Lee, ever tried, to walk, in his shadow.
He, would have never, challenged, him.
This, would make an, interesting short film, if Jackie Chan would agree to it.
It, has values, on discipline and self realization.
I, don't think, he would though.
When, it comes to Bruce Lee....
Anyone, that really met, him and spent time, in his presence...
Would not, fabricate, stories, about him.
He, was, a living legend, in his own time.
Bruce Lee, was real, and anyone, that truly, knew him...
Would, keep it real, when talking about him.
That's, just the way, a true warrior, is acknowledged.

Yes I know Jackie has a high level of respect for Bruce.
What most of you seem to be missing is that this event is the moment in time when a technically proficient stunt man who is a cocky 18 year is shown that he isn't necessarily as fast as he think he is, and as a result now hold Bruce in the utmost respect.
This is the moment Jackie's respect for Bruce is given flesh.
