I think Side Order's better off being played every now and then so you it doesn't feel as repetitive, and I also think especially if have a lot of prlz then monochrome runs are way more fun if you deviate slightly now and then. Like luna with mostly range but also splash damage and increased firing speed sounds waaay more fun that normal monochrome range imo. That's generally how I keep side order from getting stale to me anyway

6:24 not to mention, the Rapid Blaster is not to be confused with the Clash Blaster, which has a more rapid fire rate

I actually have done a Blaster run where I maxed out firing speed and range. It's funny with how rapidly it shoots, but since I had no ink saver chips you deplete your tank insanely fast.

2:00 I am! I really enjoy the DLC!

It introduced a lot of roguelike games to me, which some of them, I still play today! I really like the replayability and do challenges. I play it almost every time I play Splatoon :)

Have you considered doing a run where the Color Chip placement is a recreation of the build used when beating Overlorder/Smollusk for the first time?

Ink attack size on Blaster just makes the shots hitbox a bit bigger pre-explosion.

13:31 for Jelletons that have a 'critical failure' explosion, as I call it (e.g. those Arpeggio spawning trees), the blast does count as Splash damage, and so is affected by splash radius. (If that's what you were asking about amidst the cut up audio)

Yeah, Range chips do seem to focus an odd amount on paint as well, don't they?

I'd love to see a few more Side Order run videos, Vasko (especially this Clash/Grizzco Blaster run you had the idea for, that sounds fun).
A recommendation I'd like to give, though, is to experiment with toning back a few of the hacks to try to find a better balance of difficulty for your skill level. I find Side Order is more fun when there's still a bit of challenge, and just equipping all the hacks makes it very easy to breeze straight through. And just breezing straight through without any real challenge tends to be more boring from a viewer standpoint as well.

love it still

Awesome video! :D

Honestly I play a lot of side order when I go to the gym! Playing on the tredmill, on incline, is a lot of fun! I did leave it for a smidge but since I started bringing my switch to the gym it’s a lot of fun!

I still play this mode because it's really one of the most fun DLC I ever played!

21:14 mono range is actually very good on agent 4s palate but on murchs a mix of range power and support is best

I think orange its coverage damage and ink wise

Cool Video

I’ve been trying to 100% side order with all color chip badges, I’ve even run the low hack badge with only two lives as the only hack on 8’s pallet.

I still play <3
Mostly cuz I haven’t filled the chip list yet

I still play it because ive made like games based off playing it

I should go back to side order again. Because I haven't gotten the final palette clear yet. and that's officially the only weapon I don't have 1 star on but ... my only attempts have gone so awful.

If you still plan on doing a support run, use charger! I did one with max quick charge and max homing shots and it is ridiculous 😆

i am still playing side order

I forgot you played Splatoon
