as a biologist, I like to imagine this is how animals we catch, categorize, tag (and sometimes treat) and release feel
and the other animals like: bro you trippin', shut up, eat your food

the idea of aliens randomly kidnapping a dude, then re-parking his car wrong for no apparent reason is so funny

Sounds like he got kicked in the head by an elk.

Carl meets a crackhead in the woods by Dr. Seuss.

When I unquestioningly accept pills from a desheveled man I met in the woods and he takes me on a magical journey with a group of elks, I get put back in the grippy socks, yet carl here gets his story retold for the rest of eternity, very unfair

"So what happened out there, man?"

"Edward Scissorhands got me high and took me to space"

It’s like a hand, but shrouded.

Carl has the survival instincts of a toddler getting offered candy

The common theme always seems to be that the experiencer sees technology that's advanced for their time only

Man, if my wife found out I took a pill that some strange dude in the woods gave me and spent days whacked out…I probably should’ve stayed on the visitors’ planet.

Got to be honest the whole amnesia and pain in the head, neck and shoulders as well as eyes I've often had after a seizure, literally not knowing who I am and not even knowing where I am, what a building is etc...which lasts for about an hour, slowly coming back in bits a pieces-it certainly doesn't last as long as that (the pain carries on though and sickness) and I absolutely don't have any of the other things happen which he says he did, thankfully!

The animation of Carl taking the pill is killing me lol.

Bro that animation of him taking the pill 😂😂

This sounds like a story my 6yo nephew would tell me when he's trying to describe a weird dream he had, and I can literally see him making things up as he goes.

This is why it’s important to have a trip sitter.

If you ever find a fork in the road pick it up.

The last thing I’m going to do is take “medicine” that a stranger gives me in the woods this feels like he might have had some kind of hallucination or maybe even some kind of reaction from some kind of plant that he might have been around
