Only People that lived through the 80's and experienced this Song in Clubs - will ever really know how big it was. I remember the Clubs virtually exploding everytime this was played - it was Collosal !!

I like the fact that Pete (Burns) admitted that he riff'd off the Luther Vandross track. It's rare that songwriters are so honest.

I hate that this is the only song Dead and Alive are known for. They had many other great tracks.
Pete had an Amazing voice. RIP ❤️

This song was ahead of its time. I dominated gyms and health clubs in America, aerobics classes especially. It stood out above the rest.

I had the great pleasure to meet Pete a few times, he was always incredibly polite and humble, yet he had a mischievous twinkle in his eyes and a laugh that was infectious.

4:36 good to see he finally appreciated the song, I know he resented it for a long time because he wanted to move on in life.

Timeless song. Just great all 'round. Anyone who says they don't like it or have never sang to it...... are lying!
