This was a great game. I wish they would’ve made a sequel.

The Dibella quest sends you there in search of the Sibyl of Dibella

The Nightgate Inn does have some relevance to the story. In the Dark Brotherhood quest line, you kill the Orc because he's The Gourmet.

There are so many pieces of quests or places that were just left in the game when the idea was scrapped.  I would love to see what the game would have been like if everyone had been allowed to finish their ideas.

Yay! I get to go to sleep to a banger!

I love how every video I’ve clicked on talking about Skyrim always starts with the cart ride. It’s permanently cemented into my brain.

Did you not do the dark brotherhood quest line? The night gate inn houses the gourmet, a renown orc chef who is in the basement in hiding. Also.. the owner clearly has family. His grands built it. In lore Nightgate Inn was originally planned to be the center of a bustling village called Heljarchen. Development files reveal cut content for local fishermen, an apothecary, and a blacksmith. The village was ultimately scrapped, leaving the inn as a single lonely structure.

Edit: Snorreid snores.. that is his purpose 😂😂

I put this on to take a nap, it was still on, and it is slayyyyy. I listened to another long form of these the other day and the words were in my dream. I was in a busted urbex situation but the narration was about vampires. Spooky!

15:38 I never forget about Angi.

Your voice is so good for this keep up the good work I'm subscribing

There's three quests in Karthwasten, one of which is a main Daedric quest.

Sanuarach Mine (Miscellaneous Quest): When you arrive, you will find a heated standoff between the local mine owner, Ainethach, and a group of Silver-Blood mercenaries. You can resolve this dispute by either persuading or killing the mercenary leader (Atar) so Ainethach keeps the mine, or by persuading Ainethach to sell it.

The Heart of Dibella: You will visit Karthwasten during this major Daedric quest to find the new Sybil of Dibella.

Gharol's Message: A smaller delivery quest where you are asked to bring a message to Lash gra-Dushnikh (Gharol's daughter) who is in Karthwasten.

45:14 why is this description so on par with my life 😭

Tullius said there was a massacre by the stormcloaks at karthwasten

Angi in the Rigmar mod.

Nightgate Inn is for survival players

2:49:03 I keep hearing “Carl Sagan Mine”… 😂

I found an unsettling crime scene in Skyrim years ago, I’ve been looking for it ever since.
I was walking a path and off to the side I noticed a cart and dead horse. I went to inspect and loot. Some of the area was actually burned and still smoldering. I found 1 dead bandit but no one else. So I went a bit deeper in the woods and found a small pond encircled by steep cliffs, no snow. As I approached the pond I noticed  a dead npc named corpse. She was in undergarments with her hands behind her back, and she was bent over a rock in a suggestive position with her face in the pond.
This wasn’t a glitch, this was a coded area with no location marker. I have spent 10 years looking for this location again. Please someone tell me I’m not crazy, because that genuinely made me feel like I stumbled into someone’s fetish, and I’m still creeped out all these years later.

This would’ve been useful 14 hours ago.

Karthwasten is a mining camp, not really a town, imo.

youre giving bethesda too much credit
